The British Journal of Diabetes and Vascular Disease has some fascinating articles, and is well worth poring over if you are looking to increase your knowledge. You should know that if you are diabetic then you increase your risk of CVD (Cardio Vascular Disease) and CHD (Coronary Heart Disease). It is imperitive therefore, that you do everything that you can to mitigate the risk.

You must get your BP down, ideally less than 140/80. This will be achieved by a compbination of medicines and lifestyle and must be undertaken in consultation with your GP.
